Celebrating 50 years of AML

The Association for Mormon Letters Awards Ceremony will be held online, June 20, 2026, 3:00-6:00pm, Mountain time, and broadcast live on Youtube.

We will be presenting awards for outstanding works published in 2025 in a wide variety of formats, including novel, short fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, drama, film, and many more.

We will also be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Association for Mormon Letters, by honoring and featuring conversations with many of the great artists and administrators affiliated with the organization over the past decades. Details about the program, including lifetime achievement awards and panel discussions, will be announced soon.

This year we are not holding a full conference, so we are not accepting proposals for papers. We plan to hold a full conference in 2027. Finalists for the 2025 AML Awards will be announced on this blog in late May, and links to the ceremony’s video feed and more information will be available by then as well.
