Not all of my interviews and such are, or will be of indie authors, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t introduce everyone to Heather Hildenbrand. Author of The Dirty Blood Series (werewolves) and The Imitation Series (clones), she began her career as a self published author and soon earned a full time income. Then, her story gets truly interesting.
I won’t spoil the entire interview for you, but suffice it to say she now offers coaching to authors who are working on their own careers and platforms, and runs one of the most interesting independent publishing houses in the market. 
I’m always wary of who I recommend, but Elephantine Publishing offers authors a fair shake with the rights, requires no payment from the author, and will train each author in the publishing business. Authors who want to proceed with their careers by self publishing are encouraged to do so.
