We had our monthly online AML Book Club meeting on March 27, featuring readings from the latest issue of Irreantum: Wine into Water
Contemporary LDS Poems about Jesus. Guest editor Kevin Klein led the event, which featured readings by several of the issue’s poets, questions and discussion. The video features readings (and music) by Bruce Jorgensen, Lance Larsen, Summer Larson, Carol Lynn Pearson, and Darlene Young. I am sorry I started taping late, so I missed recording the readings by J. S. Absher, Aliza Brobbey, James Goldberg, and Gabriel González Núñez.
The next book club is tentatively scheduled for the evening of Sunday, April 24. We will announce the book title in a day or two from now. Here are some of our recent book club topics:
